Big Trees North Grove

This place was amazingly beautiful! On top of that it was only an hour and a half away from home, can't beat that. The size of the Giant Redwoods is indescribable unless you've seen them in real life. The trees make you feel small in the universe without even trying. We had an added bonus of some snow on the ground. That made the adventure that much more interesting as we were sliding all around the trails! It didn't truly get fun until the uphill/downhill climbing started!

I did throw a bit of a tantrum upon seeing one of the old trees that had been stripped of it's bark and killed. Kinda made me hope that anyone that had a part in that died a slow and very horrible death. How you could even hurt one of those magnificent trees is beyond me, might as well be harming a child.

Anyway's, the trip was awesome, breakfast was great, and the weather was more than we could have asked for!
